CAIRO – 7 May 2017: Alain Delon, one of the most significant French cinema stars, announced that he will star his last film this fall, as he decided to retire.

“It will be the last movie because, like a fighter who doesn’t want an unnecessary fight, I do not want to do the extra film,’’ said Delon to the media explaining the reason behind his decision.

His last film co-star is Juliette Binoche, and the film is directed by Patrice Leconte. The film revolves around a love story between a man, Delon’s age, and a 50 year-old woman.

Delon decided to conclude his acting career after 60 years of hard work and a long series of successes. He saw that next fall is the right time to take this step. Delon starred in a number of famous works, such as Notre Histoire, Ne Reveillez Pas un Flic Qui Dort, Le Retour de Casanova, Le Jour et La Nuit, Asterix aux Jeux Olympic, among others.
