CAIRO - 28 April 2017: 66-year-old comedian Bill Murray is

recording a classical music album

in which he will sing and perform literary readings for chamber music group New Worlds, led by cellist Jan Vogler's trio.

The album will include the music of George Gershwin and Stephen Foster, as well as songs from the beloved musical “West Side Story.”

The words of Mark Twain, Walt Whitman and Ernest Hemingway will be used as spoken-word selections, and the group will explore themes of “American history and identity,” the

New York Times reported.



Murray is famous for “Ghostbusters“, “Groundhog Day” and “Lost in Translation,” for which he was nominated for an Oscar.
