CAIRO – 7 January 2018: Zawya Cinema will screen the documentary “Ya Omri” (104 Wrinkles) Sunday, January 7.

Winner of the Jury Award at the Malmö Arab Film Festival, “104 Wrinkles”, follows director Hady Zaccak as he documents his aging grandmother, Henriette, as she nears her 104th birthday. Zaccak travels back into Henriette’s long history, as she emigrated from Lebanon to Brazil and went on to live a truly remarkable life.

The film premiered at the Dubai International Film Festival in 2016 as part of the Muhr Feature Competition, and has since competed in various other film festivals, such as Beirut Cinema Days 2017, Cairo Cinema Days, Sharm El Sheikh Arab and European Film Festival and the Lebanese Film Festival (LFF) in Sydney, Australia.

Zaccak has written and directed over 20 documentaries, including “A History Lesson” (2010), “The War of Peace” (2007) and “Refugees for Life” (2006).
