CAIRO – 26 December 2017: Veteran Egyptian singer Mona Abdel Ghany recently joined the cast of "Serry Lel Ghaya" (Extremely Confidential).

"Serry Lel Ghaya" is the first cinematic experience for Abdel Ghany after she started wearing Hijab (veil).

The famous Egyptian actor Ahmed el-Sakka, who is playing the role of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, has previously announced that he has almost finished performing his role in the movie.

More than 20 megastars will participate in this massive movie. Egyptian megastar Mohamed Ramadan will appear as a guest of honour in five or six scenes, portraying two characters, first as a soldier and the second is yet to be revealed.

The movie depicts Egypt’s history from the beginning of the uprising against Hosni Mubarak on January 25, 2011, until the ousting of Mohamed Morsi on June 30, 2013. The film will also include the terrorist attacks and disturbances that occurred during this time.

Tarek Lotfy will play the role of Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed el-Beltagy, Ahmed Rizk will play the role of former President Mohamed Morsi, Nabil al-Halafawy as former Defence Minister Mohamed Hussein Tantawi and Ahmed Bedeir as a terrorist leader.

Adel Emam will play himself on screen for the first time. He is in one scene attending a press conference for Sisi. This historic movie is written by the renowned writer Waheed Hamed and directed by Mohamed Sami. The film has no release date yet.

It is worth mentioning that Abdel Ghany performed in the massive concert entitled "Century Concert" that took place on December 1 at Cairo Stadium. She sang some of her most successful songs, such as "Ma'a el Ayam" (With the Days) and "Ashab" (Friends), as well as many others.

The successful concert hosted about 20 singers from the most prominent 1980s and 1990s singers such as Simone, Hassan Abdel Megeed, Hossam Hosny, Hanan, Ehab Tawfik, Mohamed Fouad, Alaa Abdel Khalek, among others.
