CAIRO – 6 March 2017: AUC’s Falaki Theatre in downtown Cairo is hosting a workshop by Russian choreographer and contemporary dancer Zosia Jo on Wednesday to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Falaki Theatre, located on the downtown campus of the American University in Cairo in Tahrir Square, is also hosting a screening of “On Feeling Cold,” a 2005 movie directed by Hala Lotfi, a reception for cello player Reem Shakweer, and a screening of “The Silent City,” a movie from the 10th round of the Cairo International Women’s Film Festival, according to a press release.

The celebration starts at 3:30 p.m. and the last event begins at 7.
