CAIRO – 22 November 2017: The Egyptian soprano Janet Zaki will be leading a joint music performance alongside opera singer Meganio Samir, oud player Haitham Darwish, and the singers of the Osiris training workshop on November 29th at Osiris for Art Production and Training.

Established in 2015, Osiris for Art Production works to strengthen the Egyptian arts scene by encouraging young musicians, aspiring performers, and art amateurs to become part of a community hub that provides its students with experience and exposure.

Osiris frequently calls for new talent to join its ranks, and regularly hosts performances and cultural events in efforts to engage Egyptians with the artistic scene.

Janet Zaki is a soprano member of Cairo Symphony Orchestra’s ‘A Capella Choir’, which was founded in 1999 and is led by the Georgian choir master Maya Gvineria. According to the Cairo Symphony Orchestra’s official website, the four components of the ‘A Cappella Choir’, Soprano, Baritone, Tenor, and Alto, perform classical masterpieces with the Cairo Symphony Orchestra.
