CAIRO – 31 October 2017: The fourth exhibition for artist Hossam Dirar “Dirar Goes Abstract” will launch at Art Talks in Zamalek on November 7 and will run until December 2 featuring a unique selection of painting strokes.

Selected in 2014 as one of 12 emerging artists of great promises from the world by Saatchi, Dirar will be hosting his fourth exhibition at Art Talks with the tenacity of presenting a new aspect of his work through abstract paintings inspired by experiences he personally underwent when departing Egypt, according to the event’s official page.

Sponsored by Absolut Egypt, the exhibition will show art amateurs a Quasi-monochrome palette of clashes that depicts conflicts between beginnings and ends, past, and present and the constant dispute between mind and soul. These aspects are vividly shown through his journey marked between Egypt and the west.

Dirar has grown in identity and self-realization during the geographical travels that reflect his oriental roots and also adopt his western ideals.

His drawings are characterized by multi-layered texture palettes to express identity and overlap between the multicultural characters, delivering instant visual pleasure.

Dirar’s first exhibition at Art Talks Gallery was entitled “Beauty and the Beast” which was a joint exhibition with Syrian artist Sabhan Adam. The exhibition was a depiction of merged talents showing two opposing sides in one dual show in 2014.
