CAIRO – 25 October 2017: American experimental science fiction film “Upstream Color” will screen at Cimatheque-Alternative Film Center on Saturday and Sunday.

Directed and written by Shane Carruth, “Upstream Colors” revolves around an ageless man and woman pursuing a journey of self-discovery where they struggle to recollect fragments from the stories of their life.

Starring Amy Seimetz, Frank Mosley, and Shane Carruth, the film was released in 2013 and has participated in an array of festivals including Sundance Film Festival, Central Ohio Film Critics Association, Film Independent Spirit Awards, and Gotham Awards.

The film’s cinematic techniques earned it a unique label of being among the top science fiction film.
