CAIRO – 23 October 2017: The fall season is a bridge between the changing weather, but also the mood of summer and winter; cool mornings where you would love to stay in bed, cool nights perfects for hangouts with friends and in the middle of a hot noon where you would not want to be stuck in traffic. All that changing makes the other parts of the day more enjoyable when it comes.

You can tolerate that push-pull effect if you had the right soundtrack, which is why we are recommending a fall playlist, which covers that range of back and forth emotions between coziness and needed energy.

(7 a.m. to 11 a.m.)

More Than Scarlet by Decoder Ring:

This track inspires a calm hopeful feeling, perfect to start your day with. It was also chosen by director Paolo Sorrentino as part of the soundtrack list of his 2013 academy award winning movie The Great Beauty.

Youm El Etneen (Monday) by Maii Waleed:

This is going to be your dash of "dark" to balance the day, while some people would rather not listen to "downer music" on a good day, we all sort of know they are relaxing in a way, as long as consumed moderately, of course.

Waleed is an Egyptian singer/songwriter who used to jam with the all-girl band “Mascara” before she went solo. In this song Waleed is wondering why she keeps returning to an old lover even though she knows all his games.

(12 p.m. to 3 p.m.)

Desire by Years and Years ft. Tove Lo:

By this time of the day you will need the type of songs which will energize you and give you a push to continue the day. This up-beat song will be your perfect guide through traffic and sun’s heat.

(4 p.m. to 7 p.m/)

Marinade by Dope Lemon:

This song is perfect for sharing with your significant other as a romantic gesture half way through the day. The adorable video clip is defiantly a plus.

Lover Is A Day by Cuco:

Cute, obscure and almost psychedelic, perfect to sway to, but can also fade in the background if you want to focus on a certain task and need a calm song.

(9 p.m. to 12 p.m.)

Chopin's Nocturne op.9 No.2:

Like many of his compositions, delicate and aristocratic in a way. This track is perfect for a romantic dinner, some night reading, or simply clearing your mind after a long day.

Mad about you by Hooverphonic with orchestra:

A remake version of Hooverphonic's hit song, which made it much better by slowing down the song and playing it with an orchestra. They turned it into a perfect groovy song.

feels like we only go backwards baby - tame Impala
