CAIRO – 8October 2017: Warner Bros. Pictures just released the fourth trailer Justice League on Sunday, and if you want the short version of our reaction it is “WHOA!”

The trailer offered a cheerful color ballade, intriguing music, and a much anticipated Superman (Henry Cavill) appearance. While there is still a lot of speculation around whether Superman will be coming back from the dead to participate in the action in person, the trailer just confirmed that he will be with us at least in spirit; through a flash back/dream sequence, Superman/Clark Kent appeared talking to Louis Lane about their engagement, before she wakes up to realize he is no longer there.

From that point the trailer kicks off to be an exciting fun-feast, as we witness all our glorious heroes shine, cooperating to beat deformed villains, as we hear voice over reminding them that each of them “can’t save the world alone”, which is the movie’s motto.

This is the first trailer to be released after Joss Whedon’s modifications and reshoots of the film, which probably explains the joyful tone of all the superheroes, as they make one-liners and seem to be full heartedly enjoying the fight sequences. While this takes off the edge of the gloomy atmosphere of the prequel, Batman vs. Superman, this still seems a bit unrealistic as these heroes are supposedly saving the world from “Apocalypse” which might require a dash of seriousness.

The movie will be released in American theatres on October 17 and in Egyptian cinemas on November 15.

And in case you are wondering, the song in the background is David Bowie’s “Heroes” covered by Gang of Youths.
