‘Focus on Egyptian Short Films’ at Cimatheque

CAIRO – 3 October 2017: Cimatheque will screen a selection of short films from the 2000s under the title “Focus on Egyptian Short Films” on Wednesday, October 4. The screening aims to revive iconic independent films.

The films include "The Elevator" by Hadil Nazmy, "Good Morning" by Sherif al-Bindary, "Senses" by Mohamed Ramadan, "Public Domain" by Islam Kamal, "Clean Hands, Dirty Soap" by Karim Fanous, "Gamal and Amany" by Hadil Nazmy, and "Boredom" by Salma Zaki.

The film screening is in partnership with SEMAT, and the Goethe Institute’s Arab Shorts Program.

“Focus on Egyptian Short Film” screened previously on September 29 at the same location.
