CAIRO – 30 September 2017: Prominent Egyptian underground band Massar Egbari plays a new song from their newest album at the ninth edition of the Cairo Jazz Festival that runs between September 28 and September 30.

“We think Cairo Jazz Festival is the perfect opportunity to introduce a new song called ‘Faker Ama Kona’ (Remember When We Were) from our newly released album,” said the band vocalist Hany El Dekak in a statement.

The ongoing Cairo Jazz Festival has been held at the American University in Cairo’s (AUC) Tahrir campus this year and is packed with an array of eclectic international jazz bands from Denmark, the Netherlands, Japan, Portugal, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Panama.

The festival is also packed with activities and workshops that will run in parallel with performances in Cairo Jazz Club, Room Art & Space Cafe, and Semiramis Hotel.
