This week, Nader Saadallah (@nadersaadallah) is taking over our Instagram feed with his work on #men who work in #Quarries – it shows the white limestone quarries craft in Minya, Egypt and how the workers can make and shape these stones from the white mountain. There are four phases to this process. The first is the equalization of the mountain with big winches and spikes. The second phase is the shaping; there's a machine called "El fasalah" which cuts and partition the mountain to stone blocks to 13x26 cm. The third phase is the extracting, a machine called "El hashasha" extracts the final result of the stones forming them as free blocks that ready to use. The fourth and final phase is the filling, after that the workers are filling it into the vehicles to be ready for trading in the market. Pictured here is the fourth and final phase is the filling, after that the workers are filling the white stones into the vehicles to be ready for trading in the market, actually, they have a very nice way in the filling, by throwing it in the vehicles. Nader has documented the life of craftsmen in Egypt in many of his photos. He allowed us to live their lives in just seconds and imagine how hard their work is, and how talented they are.

It's foundries men street , the famous street of metal casting and foundry in Alexandria, Egypt . At this moment Mody is filling the fusible metal .The temperature in his workshop reaches 60°C, while the temperature inside the furnace goes higher than 1000°C. Very hard work , different life . . . . . . . . . #spi_light #akasimagazine #minimalha #hikaricreative #canon_photos #gettyimagescreative #culturacolectiva #one__shot__ #irimages #somewheremagazine #friendsinperson #Creativeimagemagazine #myfeatureshoot #top_arabpic #suretialem #photoblipoint #medailylife #everydaymiddleeast #everydayafrica #everydayeverywhere #everydaycairo #streetleaks #streetlife_award #spjstreets #everybodystreet #ourstreets #life_is_street #myspc #lensonstreets #storyofthestreet
