CAIRO – 20 September 2017: The Supreme Council of Culture’s General-Secretary Hatem Rabee’ honoured the talents of disabled children during an event. The event is organized under the supervision of the Minister of Culture Helmy al-Namnam.

The event also had a book signing of the Ebdaa’at (Creations) series called ”Qesaty” [My Tale] by Safaa Taha. The book is a collection of poems about love, peace, and unity. Taha aimed to send a supportive message to every talented disabled child.

Taha is one such multitalented disabled child. She is 14-years-old and is talented in many fields such as poetry, novel composition, and painting.

She won second place at the Electronic Book competition. She is also called the Ambassador of Peace and Challenge.

An exhibition of the works of the talented children followed the event. It displayed the work of the winners of the Creation Competition that the National Centre for Culture Child organized for the third year.
