CAIRO – 19 September 2017: Boris Mitic’s bizarre, experimental documentary parody “In Praise of Nothing” features the personification of, nothing, narrating its viewpoints about being nothing, and voiced by none other than music star Iggy Pop.

Despite being about nothing, the film seems to be about everything. The film was shot in a rather unique way; it was produced online in anonymous brainstorming sessions with over 62 cinematographers across 70 countries. “In Praise of Nothing” features quiet, visually distinct scenes across a wide variety of places, with a shared theme of stillness and a sense of quietness.

The film is also the first feature length documentary to include originally written narration in rhyme.
