39th Edition of General Fine Arts Exhibition to kick off

CAIRO – 18 September 2017: The Fine Arts Sector at the Ministry of Culture is organizing the 39th edition of its general exhibition. It will kick off on September 20 at the Palace of Arts at Cairo Opera House.

Works by a number of artists will be exhibited, in addition to honoring four artists, namely Gaber Hegazy, Gamil Shafik, Ahmed Shiha and Saeed Heddaya.

The exhibit will observe the changes in the Egyptian fine arts scene in one year.

The opening program will include an exhibit for the honored artists’ works at Al Bab Hall at the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art, as well as a calligraphy exhibit at Isis Hall.
