CAIRO – 13 September 2017: A new mime performance called “The Invincible Wall” will be hosted at different venues in Cairo from September 14 to September 17.

The Association for the Protection of the Environment, Darb 1718, and Al Azhar Park are among the venues that will host the performance.

The performance is the final project of the second semester of the mime workshop headed by the Spanish director Dario Sigco.

Students from the Nas School of Arts and Dance are going to practice what they learnt from the workshop.

Nas is a two-year program that instructs different dance schools and different forms of performance.

The upcoming show will be followed with a tour across different governorates in Egypt.

Mime and pantomime, or the silent acting, is based on the movement of the body and signs that the actor performs on stage. It includes numerous forms varying in progress. In India for example, mime is combined with music and dance.
