Artistic Creativity Center to host ‘Laurel and Hardy’ film week

CAIRO – 8 September 2017: Cairo’s Artistic Creativity Center will be hosting a week of Laurel and Hardy films, starting from September 10-15, at the Cairo Opera House.

Laurel and Hardy are an American comedy duo prominent in early Hollywood and considered to be amongst the greatest duos in film history. They made over 100 comedies together while working at Hal Roach Studio.

Amongst their more notable films include the short movie “The Music Box,” which won them an Oscar. The duo’s timeless humor continues to garner laughs worldwide, and have inspired countless comedians.

Several of their films screening at the Creativity Center include Darty Park, Puma Night, Hummie in Oxford, amongst others.
