Trails of Change: Street photography workshop in Alexandria

CAIRO – 8 September 2017: Photopia will be hosting a photography workshop at the Swedish Institute in Alexandria on Wednesday, September 13.

Titled ‘Trails of Change’, the workshop is focused on climate change awareness, and will be conducted by Fathy Hawas and Mohammed Mahdy. The aim of the workshop and its objective is to outline how a photograph is a permanent record of a time or place, and so can be used as a way of documenting the effects of climate change and primarily its impact on the seas and streets of Alexandria.

Admission is free and the maximum number of participants is 25 people.
