CAIRO – 4 September 2017: Independent feature film discussion ‘Hammam Sokhn’ (Hot Bath) will be carried out at Eish & Malh on September 13 after a long journey of production that involved several volunteers in filmmaking.

Written by Rasha Azab and directed by Manal Khaled, the film presents real life stories of seven women in different situations during the 2011 Egyptian revolution, according to the official event page.

The film discussion is meant to reach a larger community to get their support to help the filmmakers finalize their film project and launch it online. The crowd-funding campaign will be integrated with a music segment, short screening, and discussions.

The event will feature a live launch of Indiegogo campaign, live music performance by actress Reem Hagab, and giveaways.

The drama film is expected to be released in 2018 portraying three intense moments led by protagonists who are trapped in confined spaces and denied the free moments of victory, according to the film’s official page. The six-year old project depicts liberty in its finest forms.
