Documentary on Sanaa Gameel to screen at El Sawy Culture Wheel

CAIRO - 3 September 2017: El Sawy Culture Wheel will screen a documentary about the Egyptian iconic actress Sanaa Gameel on September 13.

The film titled, ‘The Story of Sanaa’ [Hekayet Sanaa], narrates the story of Gameel, whose family left her in a French school and immigrated.

After graduation, Gameel found herself without family or relatives so she tried searching for her roots.

After that, she joined the High Institute of Theatrical Arts, and became one of the greatest Egyptian actresses.

The film is directed by Rojina Besalle and was produced by the National Center of Cinema in 2016.

It also was produced under the supervision of Lewis Grace, Gameel’s husband.
