CAIRO – 2 September 2017: Italian filmmaker and producer Frederico Corno will conduct a videography workshop using DSLR cameras at Place Des Arts on September 10.

The course will include a brief history of DSLR videography and will examine how it has changed, an overview of camera types, video formats, camera settings, tools and specification, used for different lenses, types of shots and camera movements and finally pre-production, production and post-production.

Corno was born in Milan. He gained a lot of experience through working for Warner Bros in London as a content producer. He later worked for FOX and was the senior content producer as well as the creative director for both their Dubai and Cairo branches. Amongst his clients are Campari, Redbull and Palette.

DSLR videography became popular after Canon released its 5D Mark III in 2008.

After CANON’s 5D MII back in 2008 the world of videography was never the same. Before the arrival of this iconic camera, the professional and the consumer worlds were very well distinct.
