The 3rd edition of the Land of Fayrouz competition to kick off

CAIRO – 29 August 2017: The Cultural Development Fund announced that it will start to receive demands to participate in the third edition of ‘Ard el Fayrouz’ (The Land of Fayrouz) competition named this year, ‘The beloved Sinai.’

This edition of the competition will concur with 6 of October victory celebrations. The competition is in the fields of painting, photography, engraving, sculpture, ceramics, computer graphics, Arabic calligraphy and video. The winners will be awarded monetary awards as well as certificates of appreciation for their outstanding works.

In a statement issued by the fund on Monday, they stated that there will be a competition for kids from the ages of 5 to 18 years for recent works performed in 2017. The statement cleared as well that participation applications are available at the fund’s residence, and there is an online application as well. The participants are free to choose whether to fill it hard copy from the or fill it out online. There will be an exhibition in October in addition to a ceremony to announce the winners of the competition.
