CAIRO – 29 August 2017: The UK's Classic FM station recently revealed its Ultimate Classic FM chart, which listed 300 of the bestselling classical-musical albums of the last 25 years in the UK to honor its upcoming 25th birthday on September 7th.

Amongst them, the soundtrack for James Cameron's smash-hit romance movie ‘Titanic’ was found to have been the absolute bestselling album.

Released in 1997, ‘Titanic: Music from the Motion Picture,’ composed by the late James Horner, became the bestselling album in 20 countries, topping the charts. Certified as a triple-platinum by the BPI (British Phonographic Industry), it sold 1 million copies in the UK
It's hard to believe the film would have ever been the Titanic success it was were it not for its soundtrack, which also featured the vocal talents of Celine Dion. Other films at the top of the chart included ‘Lord of the Rings’ at #30 and ‘Gladiator’ at #23.
