CAIRO – 28 August 2017: Al Azhar Park hosts the launching concert of ‘Lekhfaa’ (The Concealment) album on September 23. The album is performed by Egyptian singer Maryam Saleh, Palestinian Maurice Louca and musician Tamer Abu Ghazaleh.

These three names are known for presenting alternative Arabic music. After 3 years of work, brainstorming sessions, music recordings, and travelling between Amman, Cairo, Alexandria and Beirut, they finally managed to create their album, whose words found their way from the poems of their contemporary Mido Zoheir.

The first song from the album ‘Maksor ya Ekaa’ (Broken Tempo) was released on Wednesday.

Their album is produced by Mostakel (Independent) company that is also preparing for more concerts to promote the album in France, Sweden and United Arab Emirates, Itfarag reported.

Abu Ghazala is a singer, composer and producer. He participated in offbeat musical experiences and projects, while Louca is considered one of the electronic music icons in Egypt, Ein reported.

Saleh who was widely known after Egyptian director Khaled Abu Hagar presented her in his TV series ‘Farah Laila’ (Laila’s Wedding), released her previous album ‘Halawel’ two years ago. And in another participation with Mostakel company she released her latest song ‘Leeh ya Hamam’ (Why Birdy) where they presented a traditional Arabic song in a new manner in a duet with Swedish band Crash Nomada.
