CAIRO- 26 August 2017: The Egyptian theater play 40 Rules of Love (Qawaed Eleshq 40) will be showing from September 7 - 20 every night at the Cairo Opera House.

Based on the novel Elif Shafak, the musical play was directed by Adel Hassan. Earlier this year the play was showing at the Peace Theater (Masrah El Salam) and made almost L.E. 1 million ($56,484) in two months.

40 Rules of Love is about a 40-year old woman, Ella, who is in an unhappy marriage. She becomes a reader for a lietrary manager and from there discovers the dynamic world of books, literature and poetry which ultimately changes her life.
