CAIRO – 25 August 2017 : The Jordanian Rock pioneer Jadal will perform live in Cairo. The show will be held at the Greek Campus on August 26.

Formed in 2003 by Mohamed Abdelrazik, Jadal is the first band to compose early Arabic rock tunes. In addition they covered Kol Ma Gool Al-Tobah by Abd El Haleem Hafez.

Jadal released three full-length albums, the final one is called Malyoon and it was released in 2016.

Malaz and Khayal are two of the finest Egyptian Arabic rock bands.

Both bands will open the show for Jadal’s performance in Egypt.

Founded in 2014 to introduce alternative rock music in Egyptian dialect, Malaz managed to rock the musical scene.

The group consists of Mohamed Abdelrazik and Amr Beshr on guitar, Maged Amir on vocals, Moataz El Nashar on bass and Ahmed El Gohary on drums.

Khayal was founded in 2013. It plays rock music to reflect imaginary, concepts or stories.

The band is consists of Ezz Tarek on the acoustic guitar and vocals, Hania Mahmoud on vocals, Mohab Elsherbiny on guitar and backing vocals, Ahmed Tarek on guitars, Ramy Hamdy on bass and Ziad Nabil on drums and backing vocals.

The concert will be hosted by Nurhan Abu Bakr and Menna Allah.

The event is powered by Intro Media Solutions Company and NRJ Radio, and is organized by Al Kawkab Agency.

This event is the first collaboration between Al Kawkab agency and Intro Media Company.

Al Kawkab recently became a known name in the field of event management as they organized a number of successful events such as the Arab Rock Festival, Cairo/London Night, and Mazzika X El Sat7.

Their events carried a nice taste of variety. A big number of underground bands participated such as Kayan, Malaaz, Cairokee, Darwasha and El Dor El Awal.
