CAIRO – 23 August 2017: Palestinian poet, Farah Chamma, will visit Dubai on Saturday, August 26 where she will be teaming up with the band Parea for an improv-session backed by music, according to the National.

Chamma, born in Dubai, began writing poetry since she was 12, and has never given up since. She specializes in slam poetry, energetic original poetry performed in front of an audience who judges her work. Chamma has visited over 15 countries and has spoken about her life and the injustices occurring in Palestine, for which Poetry is her way of helping. Chamma is also fluent in six languages; Arabic, English, French, Portuguese, German and Spanish.

Chamma and Parea will perform at the Literaturhaus at Nadi event in Alserkal Avenue, Dubai on 4 p.m. Entrance is free of charge.
