‘7agar Tarazan’ in El Sawy Culture Wheel on Wednesday

CAIRO - 22 August 2017: El Sawy Culture Wheel presents a Marionette show on Wednesday, August 23, titled ‘Tarazan’s Stone’ or ‘7agar Tarazan’ written and directed by Dr. Mohamed El Sawy.

On the first Thursday of each month, Sakia or the Culture Wheel presents a concert for the renowned singer Um Kulthum with her band members in full.

El Sawy Puppet Theater was launched in 2006 with the play ‘The Great Pipe’ by El Sawy. The huge and growing demands from Sakia audience have stimulated the team to offer more and more puppet shows for the young and old.

In ten years more or less, Sakia Puppet Theater has produced more than 11 children's plays as well as puppet shows for a large number of art stars; Egyptians and foreigners.
In 2006, a workshop was organized by Sakia Puppet Theater, as part of Ejazaty Festival program, for young people from the age of eight to 16 years to learn about the puppet industry.

Sakia Theater for Puppet Shows presents its performances inside and outside Sakia, in Cairo and other governorates of Egypt, in addition to sharing other musical and artistic activities outside Egypt.
