CAIRO – 21 August 2017: Multi-genre band Fabrica will be staging a culture venue at Gramophone in Maadi on August 27.

Intertwining western melodies with Arabic songs, the band's performances are rich and deep, tackling issues people face in their daily lives. The songs seek to raise awareness towards those issues and urge a change in behavior, promoting better lives, according to the event’s official page.

Established in 2011, the Egyptian band has been focusing on rock, jazz, and blues that are incorporated through their Arabic songs, according to the band’s official Facebook page. Fabrica consists of five active musicians: Talal, the lead vocalist and lead guitarist, Abaza as bassist and back vocalist, Mohamed Sherif on drums, Seif on harmonicas, and Emad Hamdy on tabla (Percussions).
