CAIRO - 20 August 2017: Dahab is hosting this summer's music festival 'Al-Wadi' which will kick off on September 1 until September 5.

The festival hopes to recharge the soul during the Eid holidays with a very calm, relaxing and fun atmosphere and to be the perfect getaway from the busy city life.

The program of the festival includes heading to Blue Hole, Abu Galom and Blue Lagoon for some sightseeing and then to Al-Twailat Mountain for a spectacular night under the stars after dinner.

The following day will include outdoor camping and a free tour around Dahab's touristic attractions.

Finally, on the last day, there will be a trip to three pools and the beach buggy safari before heading to the live music festival which includes shows by bands like Hawas, Gazaga and a yet to be announced DJ. The festival is organized by Hangout Travel. The ticket price is LE 250 ($14) apart from the program.

Founded in Cairo in 2014, the independent alternative band, Hawas experiments with a variety of musical trends and genres. The progressive band blends words and music to express human pain, sadness and joy.

Similarly, Gazaga was founded in 2011; they were inspired by traditional Egyptian music and decided to modernize it to their own taste.
