CAIRO – 19 August 2017: The legendary mega-star Mohamed Mounir released a new music clip called A’lam Wahed (One World), that was tailor-made to tackle the refugee crisis.

Mounir cooperated with the German Egyptian singer Adel Tawil and the World Music Award winner Youssou N’dour in the song, which was previously released in Arabic, English, French and German languages. The Video clip was shot in Senegal over three days. The song has an obvious message to the world that we are all equal and united together.

One World aims to destroy all the barriers between humans and strengthen the ties that connect them to each other. ‘’My home is your home,’’ is the main theme of the song.

Mounir was preparing for this song for a long time, especially because the song is about the refugee crisis, which is considered a vital world-wide issue. The song was presented in four languages to reach the largest number of audiences around the world.

It is worth mentioning that the German Ministry of Education has decided to teach mega-star Mohamed Mounir’s song, 'One World,' to fourth, fifth and sixth grade students in German schools.

The aim behind this decision is to teach children the idea of accepting others and how to be able to live together peacefully, despite coming from different backgrounds.

Mounir was very happy with this decision, saying it proves the importance of music and art in enlightening societies and countering terrorism. He added that this is the true role of art, in dealing with the extremism in all aspects of life.
