CAIRO - 15 August 2017: Pangea Theater show will be taking place on August 22, 23 at the AUC Falaki Theater and Gallery in Tahrir.
Pangea is based on a novel written by George Orwell called ‘Animal Farm,’ published in 1945. The book was awarded both the Retro Hugo Award for Best Novella in 1996 and Prometheus Award in 2011.
The novel’s storyline is based around the chaos in an animal farm, used as a metaphor for the Russian Revolution. The actors in the play include Said Madkour, Iman Abou Elaz, Mohammed Ayman, Said Salman, Mohammed 'Alaa, Maryam Ayman, Yasmin Tarek, Rania Abdel Nasser, Hassan Maher, Nadine Khaled, Mohammed Abu Saree, Mohammed Abdullah, Rami Ali, Mustafa Khattab, Mohamed Mamdouh, Ahmed Shone, Mohammed Akram, and Ahmed Maher. The play is directed by Amr Afifi.
The price of the ticket is LE 35 ($ 1.97)
