Aug. 26: Egyptian oriential 'Karkade' to perform at Genaina Theater

CAIRO- 15 August 2017: Egyptian oriental band, Karkade, will be performing at El Genaina Theater on August 26.

Founded by oud player and composer Mohamad Abo Zekry in 2015, Karkade consists of Mohamed Farag (Nay), Loutfi Abaza (Violin), Medhat Mamdouh (Dohol), and Hani Bedair (Req).
The band released their first album in 2016. After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Music from Université Lumière Lyon 2 in France, the founder of Karkade studied at Beit El Oud and was part of the El Sharq Orchestra.
