New joint performance to stage Room Art Space Café Friday

CAIRO – 14 August 2017: Egyptian singer Nour Khan will carry out a joint performance for the first time with Sherief al-Shazly and Sheva at Room Art Space and Café on Friday August 18.

Known for her contributions to the underground music scene, Khan is one of the rising underground vocalists and is well known for her hit single ‘Ghorbaa’ (Strangers).



Organizer of numerous vocalist workshops for beginners, Khan has produced Anime songs and participated in Egycon festivals.

Vocalist of prominent Rock band Kayan, Sherief al-Shazly and guitarist of Rock band Cosmic Architects, Sheva have both previously collaborated together introducing rock/acoustic music productions, among other concerts.

“The performance will be an improvisation and they won’t perform any Covers or Anime songs,” Shazly told Egypt Today.

Music produced will feature post rock/acoustic rock like composed by Sheva and Shazly.
“My performance with Khan will be the first of its kind because I tend to focus more on ‘Kayan’ while Khan focuses more on musical activities and she has performed with Kayan in 2013 , so we’re familiar with each other,” added El Shazly.

He explained that the improvisation to be displayed in the performance is reflecting the current reality.
