CAIRO – 13 August 2017: The national troupe for popular art headed by Galal Osman is preparing now to participate in in the next round of Ismailia International Folklore Festival that will kick off on August 21. ‘’ The festival will take place on August 21-26 with the participation of 12 countries,’’ said Osman.

The idea of the festival as recounted by Osman is based completely on the different dancing shows presented by the different participating countries, hoping that Egypt will win an award from the festival.

The total number of Arab and foreign countries participating in this year's festival are 13 countries including South Africa, Mexico, Algeria, Tunisia, Sudan, Nigeria, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Bulgaria, Palestine and Egypt. The total number of participating teams in this year's festival is 21 troupes.
