CAIRO – 12 August 2017: Dream arts Media, Afro Asian People’s Solidarity, and Grand Blue for Tourism will be hosting the first edition of the Afro-Asian Festival for Cinema, Arts, and tourism that will be running at Sharm El Sheikh between September 14 and September 20.

The festival aims to revive the touristic destinations in the country through reviving history of old Asian, African, and Arab nations and modernizing these three cultures along the way, according to a released statement by the official festival page. Attracting the greatest numbers of tourists possible, the festival brings Egyptian and Eastern culture together through an array of artistic forms, promoting heritage of each participating nation.

Approximately 15 countries will be participating in the festival to assert this edition’s goals including exchange of cultures, discussions, artistic experiences, cinematic works, and promoting safe tourism in the country.

This edition will also encourage the exchange of products and trade between African and Asian countries including cinema production. Resonating the seventh art generation, the first established international festival of Afro-Asian Cinema will recreate modern mentalities and benefit from the intellectual and artistic creativity of European civilizations.
