CAIRO- 7 August 2017: Aley explodes with fantastical street art as part of the Ahla Fawda (Best Chaos) festival in Lebanon.

Founded in 2012, Ahla Fawda is an NGO that aims to improve their community. For this summer’s project, they partnered with the Ministry of tourism and artists from Lebanon and other countries to create attractive graffiti on the walls and streets of Lebanon.

The Ahla Fawda festival was so successful that they expanded their geographical location. They reached out to London RISE gallery who have transformed Croydon in South London by graffiti and collaborated with some of the artists to redecorate other locations in Lebanon.

Their previous projects included Hamra Haloween Parade in October 2012, 2013 and 2014, Hamra Day with Santa on Christmas Day of 2013 and2014, and Beirut's Green Project initiative in 2013.
