Sudan Roots team to perform at DA House Thursday

CAIRO – 6 August 2017: Sudan Roots team will perform in DA House, Dokki, on August 10 at 7:30 p.m.

Sudan Roots is a group of musicians united to make a difference in the Sudanese music scene, in particular Reggae, the voice of voiceless, Afro Sudanese, and Afro Latin.

They launched in March 2011 from Khartoum, and are influenced by Groundaion, Jazz, Blues, Rock and R&B.

The band aims to spread love, consciousness and awareness through their songs sung in Arabic, Fulani, and English to express their Sudanese culture and positive traditions.

DA House is a place where live performance, workshops, films screening, gallery and arts space are presented.
