As Thanaweya Amma exams approach, acclaimed TV host Ahmed Fayek dedicated part his program Egypt Can to encourage students and sharing practical advice for exam preparation.
Fayek delivered an inspiring message to students, stressing that Thanaweya Amma is only one chapter in life and “not the end of the world.” He urged students to continue working hard and trust that their efforts will eventually pay off. He explained that while some students may receive grades that fully reflect their hard work, others may score slightly higher or lower, but everyone’s path and opportunities are ultimately written fairly by God. Fayek also reassured students that no effort ever goes to waste, noting that even if the reward does not come today, it will come at some point in the future.
During the episode, three of last year’s top Thanaweya Amma students joined Fayek to discuss the secrets behind academic excellence and effective exam preparation strategies ahead of final exams. The students advised against focusing excessively on one subject at the expense of others during the final revision period, warning that this could negatively affect performance in the remaining subjects. Instead, they recommended maintaining a balanced study schedule across all subjects or dedicating additional attention to weaker areas.
The students also highlighted the importance of reviewing previous mistakes in every subject, understanding the correct answers, and learning from those errors to avoid repeating them during exams. They added that comprehensive revision sessions should focus on key concepts, common mistakes, and methods that help improve concentration and overall exam performance.
