Alaa El Sheikh announced that he and his son Karim have joined the team behind the animated film The Super Mario Galaxy, contributing to its Egyptian Arabic dubbing. Karim voiced the “Lumas,” while Alaa took on the role of “Luigi.”
In a post shared on Instagram, Alaa expressed his happiness about the experience, highlighting that it marks the first time he and his son have worked together. He also revealed that the film’s director, Jessica Robert, is a longtime friend from his school days.
The Super Mario Galaxy is currently playing in cinemas after its early April release. The film is screening in several theaters across Egypt in its dubbed version and has achieved strong box office results during its first week.
