CAIRO - 30 July 2017: The Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts will host the regions first International Watercolor Jordan Forum in the capital, Amman, which will commence on August 1.

The gallery will exhibit artwork from across the Arab world giving artists a chance to reflect on and discuss their work with others. The aim of the forum is to promote young artists and uplift the medium of watercolors and popularize it amongst the nations as a prominent form of art.

The Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts was originally founded by the Royal Society of Fine Arts in 1980. It houses one of the Middle East's largest collections of contemporary art that consists of paintings, sculptures, photographs, prints, installations, ceramics and weaving. It features more than 900 artists from 60 countries with more than 2000 art pieces.
