The hit series Ras El Afaa continues to deliver gripping drama and intense action as National Security officer Mourad (Amir Karara) tracks down one of the most dangerous terrorist hideouts in the country. In a tense and high-stakes sequence, Mourad reaches the so-called “Farm of Death,” a secret site belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group. The location is packed with materials used to manufacture explosives, including a particularly dangerous explosives barrel, revealing the scale and sophistication of the group’s operations.

The discovery marks a major breakthrough in dismantling the terrorist cell’s plans. It exposes how the Muslim Brotherhood had stockpiled weapons and explosives at the “Farm of Death,” claiming the arsenal was enough to wage a massive armed campaign. According to the series, the group’s leader, Mahmoud Ezzat (Sherif Mounir), was preparing an armed force to carry out coordinated terrorist attacks aimed at destabilizing Egypt on what they called the “Decisive Day.”

The show portrays Ezzat’s growing tension and eventual collapse when his plans are thwarted by the vigilance and determination of national security forces. In El Nubariya, authorities successfully prevent the deadly plot from coming to fruition, seizing the explosives and dismantling the hidden network. Ras El Afaa highlights the meticulous planning behind the terrorist operations, from hidden weapons caches to strategic sites like the “Farm of Death,” giving viewers an inside look at the danger that had been looming and the heroic efforts taken to stop it.

Through Mourad’s investigation and the suspenseful depiction of national security operations, the series emphasizes the stakes of the battle against terrorism, the bravery of those who confront it, and the devastating consequences that could have unfolded if the plot had succeeded. The “Farm of Death” storyline stands out as one of the most intense and action-packed arcs of Ras El Afaa, combining suspense, danger, and a dramatic triumph of law and order.

Ras El Afaa takes its inspiration from true events, most notably the security campaign known as “Head of the Snake,” the operation that resulted in the capture of Mahmoud Ezzat, widely believed to be the secretive figure who oversaw many of the Muslim Brotherhood’s activities behind the scenes. The series draws on the efforts of Egyptian National Security forces to track Ezzat in the years following the June 30 Revolution, a period marked by heightened tension and conflict involving the organization.

The drama focuses on the work of National Security officers as they carry out intricate missions to pursue terrorist cells linked to the Muslim Brotherhood. These groups are depicted as organizing attacks such as bombings and assassinations while operating through hidden communication channels and tightly guarded networks used for planning and recruitment.

Throughout the series, viewers see how security forces gradually penetrate these covert structures, gathering intelligence and dismantling the cells before their plans can be carried out. The story also reflects real-life incidents, including the assassination of former Egyptian Public Prosecutor Hisham Barakat, and portrays the investigations and security operations that eventually led to the arrest of those involved in the attack.

Ras El Afaa features a star-studded cast including Amir Karara, Ahmed Ghozzi, Sherif Mounir, Caroline Azmy, Magda Zaki, Eslam Gamal, Jala Hisham, and Mahmoud El Bezzawy among others. The series is written by Hani Sarhan and directed by Mohamed Bakir.
