The series Ras Al Afaa shows how the Muslim Brotherhood leader Mahmoud Ezzat, played by Sherif Mounir, called for spreading a state of security chaos in Egypt through armed mobilization.
He emphasized that it should appear as a mutual confrontation of violence with the state, stressing that it must take place across all governorates, and ordered that Brotherhood youth be supplied with weapons.
Amir Karara leads a stellar cast in Ras El Afaa that includes Sherif Mounir, Ahmed Ghozzi, Caroline Azmy, Mahmoud El Bezzawy, and Lobna Wanass.
The series also marks the return of veteran actress Magda Zaki to the screen after an absence of more than four years, alongside appearances by Mourad Makram and several prominent stars.
Ras El Afaa is written by Hani Sarhan and directed by Mohamed Bakir. Inspired by true events, the series tells a gripping story of confrontation against shadowy powers that threaten national security.
