In a powerful and deeply human moment from Sohab El Ard ( The Land Owners) Egyptian doctor Salma, portrayed by Menna Shalaby, chooses mercy over hatred and saves the life of an Israeli. The scene delivers a clear message: For Egypt, humanity comes first. Regardless of nationality or conflict, the value of a single life outweighs everything. It is a reminder that true strength lies not in destruction, but in compassion.

In Episode 11 of Sohab El Ard, a playful conversation takes place between Nasser (Eyad Nassar ) and Salma (Menna Shalaby) about the disappearance of the sounds of rockets, shelling, and gunfire that night. They decide to stay awake so they can enjoy the evening's quiet.

Nasser goes there accompanied by Ibrahim (Kamel El Basha) to pick her up, where he meets Samir (Essam El Sakka) again. Samir tells him that he hasn’t returned to Egypt because the crossing has been destroyed and gives him and Younes a gift: some Al Ahly club t-shirts.

Majd (Adam Bakri) informs a foreign journalist of their need for a nursery for Fadwa’s (Sara Youssef ) child. She asks him to take her along with Ali, but he initially refuses out of fear for her safety. She then tells him she has an American passport that can protect them. He responds that no one is truly safe in Gaza, but in the end, he agrees to take her with him.

The eleventh episode of Sohab El Ard witnessed harsh dramatic developments, with the climax unfolding in the failure of the attack operation ordered by “Sara,” the character portrayed by actress Rawan El Ghaba. The operation resulted in the deaths of several Israeli civilians, leaving her directly exposed to legal accountability.

Following the incident, she was informed of her suspension from duty and referral for investigation, a decision that plunged her into a severe psychological crisis and a state of instability. In a moment of despair, she chose to go live on her personal social media page to recount her experience after five years of service in the Israeli army. She revealed that the army avoids speaking about the targeting of children, women, and the elderly despite official orders being issued. She also spoke bitterly about her brother, who was killed during the war without receiving recognition or attention. As these psychological disturbances and mounting pressures intensified, she ultimately made the tragic decision to end her life by suicide.

The episode concluded by presenting a series of documentary-style facts highlighting the severe psychological suffering faced by Israeli occupation soldiers during the war and the resulting rise in suicide cases. It also revealed that around 80,000 soldiers sought treatment for various psychological disorders.

The episode cited important statistics indicating that approximately 45 soldiers had died by suicide since the beginning of the war, figures referenced by some anticipated media reports. It further noted partial official statistics and media reports stating that 279 soldiers attempted suicide between January 2024 and July 2025.
