The second episode of Ras El Afaa, starring Amir Karara and Sherif Moneer, witnessed intense developments.
 

 

Officer Hassan, played by Ahmed Ghozzi, conducted a thorough interrogation of the suspect accused of attempting to bomb a metro station. During the questioning, the suspect confessed that he had joined the terrorist group during the Rabaa sit-in. He admitted that a man named Abdelrahman handed him a bag to place inside the metro station, leading him to believe it was merely a sound bomb meant to spread panic.

 

Meanwhile, Mahmoud Ezzat, portrayed by Sherif Moneer, stressed the urgency of transferring US dollars out of the country to create an internal crisis and destabilize the state.

 

 

Ras El Afaa falls within the suspense drama genre inspired by real events and incidents from Egyptian society. The series is packed with security details and hidden conflicts, centering on the National Security Agency’s pursuit of Muslim Brotherhood leader Mahmoud Ezzat.
