The Ministry of Awqaf and United Media Services Open Public Voting for Dawlet El Telawa

 

 

The Ministry of Awqaf, in collaboration with United Media Services, has officially launched the public voting link for the Audience Award as part of the “Dawlet El Telawa” program, allowing viewers to take part in selecting the winners and supporting outstanding Quranic voices.

This initiative comes as part of encouraging audience participation in voting for the Audience Award of “Dawlet El Telawa”. 

 

The winners are set to be announced on the eve of the sighting of the crescent marking the holy month of Ramadan, in a highly anticipated event for followers and those interested in Quranic affairs, reaffirming the value of Quran recitation and the role of the public in supporting the people of the Quran.

 

The program aims to discover new talents in the recitation and proper intonation of the Holy Quran. It airs on Al-Hayah, CBC, and Al-Nas TV channels, as well as on the WATCH IT platform, every Friday and Saturday.

 

More than 14,000 contestants from across Egypt participated in the auditions for the program, which is presented through a collaboration between the Ministry of Awqaf and United Media Services.

 

 

The judging panel includes a distinguished group of leading religious and academic figures in Egypt and the Islamic world: Sheikh Hassan Abdel Nabi, Deputy Head of Al-Azhar’s Mushaf Review Committee; Dr. Taha Abdel Wahab, expert in vocal performance and maqamat; Islamic preacher Mostafa Hosny; and renowned reciter Sheikh Taha Al-Nomani.
