Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, met with several content creators and influencers specializing in culture, heritage, and museum infrastructure to discuss prospects for cooperation to promote the Ministry of Culture's events, activities, and initiatives, as well as those of its affiliated museums.

The meeting also focused on highlighting icons of Egyptian culture and the uniqueness of its distinctive heritage elements, in addition to supporting purposeful cultural initiatives. This comes as part of efforts to reach broader segments of youth through contemporary language and modern digital tools capable of engaging new generations.

The meeting was attended by Ahmed Obeid, Advisor to the Minister of Culture for Investment; Mohamed Talaat, Advisor to the Minister of Culture for Fine Arts and Visual Affairs; Sami Ayad, Advisor to the Minister of Culture for Visual Identity; and Dr. Salwa Hamdy, Head of the Central Administration for Museums and Exhibitions at the Fine Arts Sector. It also included the participation of content creators Ibrahim El-Garhy, Amira Sayed Makawy, Ahmed Diaa, Bashir Shousha, Samar Hassan Youssef, Abdelrahman Adham Asran, Saba Tarek, Amr Salah, Christina Morcos, Karo Dos, Nesma Hossam, Nevine Mahmoud El-Gendy, Fady Victor, Mostafa Galal Qamari, Marwa Ezzeldin, Marwa Mehany, Menna Allah Raafat, Hindi Youssef Eissa, Mahmoud Shalaby, Mostafa Ali Salem, Hamed El-Rahman Mohamed, and Ali Hegazy. The meeting was held at the Museum of Islamic Ceramics at the Gezira Arts Center.

Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, affirmed that the envisioned role of content creators as partners in digital marketing represents a complementary extension of the effective role played by media outlets concerned with cultural affairs. He noted that content creators have become one of the influential contemporary tools for introducing Egyptian cultural heritage and presenting it in a renewed and engaging manner.
 
The Minister of Culture stressed the importance of encouraging and supporting purposeful content that contributes to elevating public taste and reflects the civilizational values of Egyptian society, by presenting positive models and high-quality content that expresses the richness and diversity of Egyptian cultural identity. He emphasized the Ministry’s aspiration to build sustainable partnerships with content creators based on producing creative content that aligns with the aspirations of youth and reintroduces cultural and artistic heritage through contemporary perspectives.
 
He explained that these partnerships aim to support cultural and creative industries, foremost among them publishing and books, theater, and music, in addition to promoting museum culture and enhancing cultural tourism. This contributes to strengthening the regional and international standing of Egyptian culture and consolidating its role as a fundamental pillar of comprehensive development and human development.
 
The Minister of Culture pointed out that the current phase requires coordination and integration among Egyptian cultural institutions, civil society, media concerned with cultural affairs, and content creators to build enlightened awareness and shape a positive vision among youth toward their cultural heritage, creative present, and future. This supports the Ministry of Culture’s strategy to maximize the use of digital platforms and strengthen the presence of Egyptian cultural discourse in the digital space.
 
For their part, several content creators, as digital marketing partners, expressed their happiness at participating in this meeting, praising the importance of the initiative, which reflects the Ministry of Culture’s awareness of the pivotal role of digital media in communicating with society, especially young people. They emphasized that opening channels for direct dialogue represents a positive step toward building a genuine partnership based on the exchange of visions and expertise, commending the Ministry’s commitment to supporting purposeful content that helps present Egyptian cultural and artistic heritage in a contemporary and appealing way.
 
The participants also expressed their pleasure in cooperating with the Ministry of Culture in promoting various cultural events and activities, introducing affiliated museums and sites, and highlighting Egyptian cultural and artistic figures and icons through the production of diverse creative content based on modern digital storytelling tools. This contributes to expanding the audience base and enhancing cultural awareness among different age groups.
 
In the same context, Ahmed Obeid, Advisor to the Minister of Culture for Investment, explained that cooperation with content creators represents an integral part of the new structure of cultural work. He noted that the coming phase will witness the activation of clear frameworks for cooperation to produce more dynamic cultural content based on a vision and objectives that are implementable, by creating a state of continuous interaction between official cultural institutions and digital platforms. This will allow events, activities, and cultural elements to be transformed into vibrant materials suitable for digital circulation and reaching a wider audience. He emphasized that the real challenge lies in building distinguished content that motivates youth to engage with culture as a contemporary, vibrant experience.
