Sherine Abdel Wahab Wins Best Female Artist in North Africa at AFRIMA Awards

 

 

Egyptian megastar Sherine Abdel Wahab was crowned Best Female Artist in North Africa at the AFRIMA Awards 2025 (All Africa Music Awards) for her song “Batamanna Ansak”.

 

This honor is considered one of the most prestigious continental awards presented annually to celebrate excellence and creativity in African music.

 

 

The award recognizes Sherine’s rich artistic journey and her lasting influence on both the Arab and African music scenes.

 

The North Africa category witnessed strong competition among several prominent artists, including Amr Diab, Wegz, Hamza Namira, Cheb Momo, and Mohamed Ramadan, before Sherine ultimately claimed the award.

 

The achievement adds to her impressive career and reaffirms her status as one of the most important female voices in the region.

 

 

The winning song is part of an album bearing the same title, released in 2024, which includes popular tracks such as “Elly Ye’abel Habibi,” “Asal Hayati,” “Awadtni El Donia Akhsar,” “We Mazal Aal Bal,” and “Ebtesamt”.
