IShowSpeed Makes History with Live Stream from Inside the Pyramids.
Internationally acclaimed American YouTuber Darren Jason Watkins Jr, known as IShowSpeed or Speed takes millions inside the heart of the Pyramids in a groundbreaking live broadcast that puts Egypt front and center on the global stage.
Speed takes the world to the Pyramids with a jaw-dropping live stream that was watched by millions worldwide.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Speed visit aimed to explore Egypt and learn more about its ancient civilization and major tourist attractions.
Speed is one of the most influential YouTubers in the world, if not the most influential. He has over 50 million subscribers on YouTube.
This entire month, Speed has been touring Africa, going live 24 hours a day from a different country almost every day. He started in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Botswana, then moved on to Ethiopia, and now he is in Egypt, delivering his first-ever live stream from inside the Pyramids.
Egypt Film Commission made this possible and provided him with the facilities and equipment that allowed the Pyramids — and Egypt — to appear in such a breathtaking way.
The Egypt Film Commission organized the trip as part of an initiative to promote Egypt as a tourist destination and highlight the country’s unique cultural and civilizational treasures.
Speed managed to go that deep inside the Pyramids without the live stream cutting out, with the internet working perfectly.
Speed’s visit was preceded by days of rehearsals and technical preparations to ensure a stable internet inside the Pyramid and throughout his entire visit to Egypt.
Internet cables were extended into the Pyramid using external broadcast units belonging to the ANA Agency, ensuring uninterrupted coverage from start to finish.
